Certainly the people who made the vaccine made a lot of money. If Covid was a factor in Trump losing the election in 2020 (US Presidents do usually lose the next election if there is a recession or economic crisis) then the deep state and the Democrats that opposed him benefited. Big business also benefited due to so many small businesses being driven out of business.

Having said that, it is usually a mistake to ascribe to conspiracy that which can be explained by incompetence. Certainly Fauci spent a lot of time trying to cover up the Wuhan lab leak because he had been involved in financing the Covid research in that lab.

And the release forms intentionally used a phrase that was created to keep people from knowing what they were getting, the Vax was called an " Investigational agent".
