This story is bullshit if you axe me. The girl couldn't have known a rope tied above and behind her wasn't properly secured. She also wouldn't have proudly stretched the flag out before launch if she was in a panic.

@RoyHinkley ----I stand corrected. After reading articles from Chinese sources, among others, she WAS complaining about her harness not being tight enough. She was ripped out of harness when she reached the bottom part of the swing. Those two ropes we saw detaching one after the other are designed to do that to send the person on the way. They had nothing to do with the mishap which is what I initially though.
