Good Samaritan helps a cop subdue a suspect after a fistfight broke out between the cop and a man in Madison, Tennessee.

Police received multiple calls about a suspect walking in traffic, lying down in the road, and even punching a car driving past.

Officer Rodion Peters arrived and tried to keep the suspect from entering the roadway again before trying to detain him.

The suspect then started throwing punches, hitting Peters in the head, before Peters could grapple him to the ground.

A good Samaritan then came over and helped Peters hold the man down until other officers arrived and detained the man.

The suspect is charged with assaulting an officer and disorderly conduct.
