Florida woman arrested after stealing Red Bull truck

TAMPA, Fla. - A woman is in custody after deputies say she stole a Red Bull box truck in Tampa and led law enforcement on a multi-county pursuit.

The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office identified the suspect as 33-year-old Nicole Schular.

According to deputies, the truck was making a delivery at a gas station on East Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard when Schular got inside and drove away. Authorities said she then headed east on Interstate 4 toward Lakeland.

From the air, deputies tracked the truck.

The sheriff’s office said its Aviation Unit followed Schular as she drove into Polk County. The Polk County Sheriff’s Office and Lakeland Police Department then helped take her into custody.

Schular is now facing a grand theft auto charge, according to HCSO.
