In his first hearing since the U.S. entered war with Iran on February 28, Hegseth defended Pentagon actions amid a proposed $1.5 trillion budget and a conflict that has cost $25 billion and 15 American lives so far. Democrats like Rep. Pat Ryan highlighted the lack of drone defenses at Kuwait's Port of Shuaiba, where troops had warned of risks but received no added protection, while Rep. Adam Smith questioned shifting justifications tied to Iran's nuclear sites. Hegseth pushed back on claims of negligence, touted a blockade of Iranian ports, and called for unity as protests raged outside and a Senate hearing looms.

WHERE WAS THIS STUPID CUNT IN 1977? NOT BORN YET ...

The Iran hostage crisis (Persian: بحران گروگانگیری سفارت آمریکا) began on November 4, 1979, when 66 Americans, including diplomats and other civilian personnel, were taken hostage at the Embassy of the United States in Tehran, with 52 of them being held until January 20, 1981.[5] The incident occurred after the Muslim Student Followers of the Imam's Line stormed and occupied the building in the months following the Iranian Revolution. With support from Ruhollah Khomeini, who had led the Iranian Revolution and would eventually establish the present-day Islamic Republic of Iran, the hostage-takers demanded that the United States extradite Iranian king Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, who had been granted asylum by the Carter administration for cancer treatment. Notable among the assailants were Hossein Dehghan (future Minister of Defense of Iran), Mohammad Ali Jafari (future Commander-in-Chief of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps), and Mohammad Bagheri (future Chief of the General Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces).[6][7][8][9] The hostage crisis contributed to a dramatic decline in Iran–United States relations.[10] After 444 days, it came to an end with the signing of the Algiers Accords between the Iranian and American governments; Iran's king had died in Cairo, Egypt, on July 27, 1980.

Traitor Trump and the Fascist Nazi MAGA politicians are nothing but willfully ignorant, lying fearmongers, racists, and Domestic Terrorists.
They are the Deep State, the Swamp, and the Enemy Within. They must be removed with extreme prejudice!
Traitor Trump must be given a sentence that is incompatible with Homeostasis. Nothing less will suffice. He and the Republicans have become Fascist White "Christian" Nationalists, Domestic Terrorist Racists, and are an existential threat to Democracy and the United States.
8647!
A revolution is the only way to fix America now.

Trump was never mentally fit enough to be president of any country, let alone president of the US, for a single day of his life. He is a narcissistic, corrupt fool who is only good at entertaining idiots and enriching himself. 3D, 4D, 8D chess? My ass. He has no idea what he’s doing - no plan, nothing.

Even when old and sick, Biden was a more professional politician than the uneducated amateur Trump will ever be.

@MiTleiD I always wondered why toothpaste has instructions. Thanks for clearing that up dumb ass.

@Mickely He must be trolling. No one thinks that President Biden was professional.

0 +1 MiTleiD 2 weeks ago

@Mickely The problem is that Trump supporters are very likely the dumbest people on the planet, because even an idiot like Trump finds it easy to lie to them. Their stupidity prevents them from seeing all the red flags.

In terms of professionalism, Biden was basically a political veteran with decades of experience before he became president. Trump is a media phenomenon; his success is based on the networking of idiots and very likely the interference of Russians who want to weaken the US. At 70, as an amateur with no experience, he jumped straight into politics as president, without truly deserving it. A 70-year-old amateur can't become a professional in any demanding field.

And in his second term, after surrounding himself with idiots, it becomes increasingly clear what an incompetent, uneducated bungler and fool Trump is as a politician. Not that he was any more successful as a businessman. There's only one thing he's good at: seducing the rabble.
