Video shows the shooter running through the checkpoint at full speed. The shooter, identified as 31-year-old Cole Tomas Allen from California, ran past a security checkpoint towards the ballroom at the Washington Hilton, where the White House Correspondents' Association dinner was being held. He was chased by the Secret Service and tackled just past the security checkpoint, preventing him from entering the main ballroom.

Cole Tomas Allen's Social Media page has "pronoun" in bio. Why am I not surprised.
