The officer was seen making an arrest after a Good Samaritan stepped in.

The woman is facing grand larceny charges as well as impersonation charges, as officers say she gave a fake name while being taken into custody.

@Labba Your comment demonstrates what a narrow minded cunt you are... Here is a shortlist of why they're useful:
1) NYC traffic. Horses don't get stuck in traffic.
2) Horses can go almost anywhere. Alleyways, pavements, parks, etc.
3) They are faster than humans - and 99% of NYC traffic.
4) They have more endurance than humans - criminals might outrun a cop on foot, but not a cop on horseback.
5) A group of them is good for crowd control.

Still think it's a shit idea..???

He should've been permitted to fire on him as long as it was from a single action , Ruger Super Blackhawk w/a 10.5" barrel

@BillD.Wall Yeah, or any firearm, really, IMHO, just as long as it was .45 caliber or larger!

@JobyFluorine What, no 44 Mags? Come on, man...

That whole arrest in the state of NY, meant nothing.
He'll post bail on the way to jail.

1 +1 Lostcoss.82 2 weeks ago

@Quint_Beastwood they'll probably let him use the money he stole from the purse.

@Quint_Beastwood Lol! No bail required! He was out in 25 minutes. He never made it to the precinct! They bought him a coffee and doughnut and dropped him off at Central Park!

Good to see a criminal get arrested.

But !!!!!

The NYC Democrat judges will let them go.
No bail.
Dropped charges.
No conviction.
No consequence.
No matter how many times they are arrested.

@Cripple
When trust in the system is broken, there is no way back.

0 +1 JobyFluorine 2 weeks ago

@oroboros It's really hard to trust a system that doesn't work as designed, or even work at all.

You say there is no way back, but there has to be some recourse. Some means of rectifying or amending what we've allowed to go all fucky.
