NEW YORK (PIX11) — A man was beaten by police in a case of mistaken identity inside a Brooklyn liquor store, leading to an internal investigation by the NYPD.

Mayor Zohran Mamdani called the actions of the officers “extremely disturbing and unacceptable” in a social media post on Wednesday.

The man was punched and had his head slammed into the counter window of the liquor store as two cops — one dressed in an NYPD-issued vest and badge and the other in plain clothes —held his arms back, the video shows.

The plain-clothes cop kneed the man in the midsection multiple times before he slammed into a shelf of glass bottles, which shattered, causing the man to bleed, the video shows.

@Lemmiwinks There are 50 year old black males (not "men" in my workplace that wear t-shirts with sayings the likes of "Sorry I'm late, I really didn't want to be here anyway", "I Hate My Babay Mama", "I'm Not A Drug Dealer..But I Can Hook You Up", etc. Nevermind the color coded Garamimals hats, socks , tees and phone cases. I don't know WHERE they find this sh&t. It's not at Walmart so it must be next to the rolling papers and condoms at the Arab gas stations in their 'hoods. They HATE these Arab businesses but LOVE their offerings. Hate the Arabs or not, but they have the capital to catch on to thd flava of the week trend....and SELL it to them.

I remember a video of Al Sharpton in some gym shorts designed for a teen. Then.there was Obamas haircut, cut into his hairline....designed for a lesbo or 13 year old Mexican gang member.
