On April 12, 2026, deputies responded to a robbery at a convenience store at 8458 Dale Mabry Highway. The suspect went behind the counter, took a pack of cigarettes, pushed an employee to the ground, causing causing her to break her wrist, and fled. Deputies quickly located and arrested Nicholas Mavrogordato, 45, just north of the store. He faces multiple charges, including Battery (Victim Over 65) and Robbery Less Than $750.
