"Today was an unexpected and difficult day. While riding the bus after spending time out with my daughter, a woman boarded through the rear door and began approaching passengers. Moments later, she went to the back of the bus and attacked someone.
CTA responded quickly by pulling over and calling the proper personnel. I did my best to remain calm and tried to speak with her, hoping to help de-escalate the situation.

The Chicago Police handled the situation better than I expected, and I’m grateful no one was more seriously hurt. I truly hope she gets the help she needs."
