ATLANTA, Ga.— Cobb County police are trying to find who is responsible after two shopping center storefronts were smashed in on Thursday morning.
Officers were called to Hawthorne Plaza off Veterans Memorial Highway in Mableton at around 6:50 a.m. The front of a Family Dollar and a coin laundry facility had broken front windows and heavy structural damage.
Security footage shows two people dressed in all black smashing the back of a U-Haul truck into one of the storefronts, loading the ATM into the back.
Police said the suspects removed an ATM from each business but only got away with one.
The incident is still under investigation.
