An off-duty military police officer reacted to an attempted robbery in the Casa Verde neighborhood, North Zone of São Paulo , on Thursday night (9), and two suspects were shot dead.

Security camera footage captured the moment when two motorcyclists approached the policewoman around 9:15 PM. She drew her weapon and fired at the suspects on Maria Medeiros Street, near number 55. At least seven shots were fired.

According to preliminary information, one of them died at the scene and the other was rescued but also succumbed to his injuries.

The São Paulo Public Security Secretariat reported that the case was registered with the DHPP (Department of Homicide and Protection of Persons) as attempted robbery, vehicle seizure, and death resulting from police intervention. The motorcycles and weapons of those involved were seized, and forensic experts were called in.

That is how it SHOULD be allowed to happen. Even in the US you'd have some shitter wanting to charge you for shooting them after they went down. It seems they do everything in their power to handicap defenders and protect the violent criminals these days. If a POS criminal decides to initiate a deadly encounter then there should be no laws or ROE to protect them.

If she had been in Canada, she would have been prosecuted for shooting the thief while he was on the ground. If she had been in France, she would have been prosecuted simply for shooting the thief. Violence against aggressors is not tolerated. The order is to let yourself be robbed, raped, and then file a complaint at the police station (the following Monday, since it's often closed on weekends). That's assuming the officers don't rape the victim right there at the station. The order is not to lock up newcomers for minor crimes, so it's not uncommon to see 35 appearances before a judge for the same crime without any convictions. The white guy, on the other hand, if he gets caught, will pay dearly.

@BlingBlingCrackPipe To be clear, if two masked and armed robbers break into your house in the middle of the night and you shoot first to save your wife, you'll go to jail.

If a predator attacks your livestock or farm animals and you pull the trigger, you'll go to jail (that's what just happened last month).

Only aggressors have rights in liberal and socialist countries.
