On April 3, registered nurse Sydney Tash, her husband Kyle, and their premature infant Ellie were removed from an Allegiant Air flight from Punta Gorda, Florida, to Indianapolis after crew concerns about the baby's health, despite no temperature check or medical consultation. MedLink, the airline's service, advised against flying based on a description of redness from crying and cabin heat, and the family deplaned under threat of police escort, facing embarrassment and extra costs. Allegiant upheld the safety protocol, while passengers showed mixed outrage and support, spotlighting clashes between family travel needs and post-COVID airline caution.

Young couple on a delayed flight tried to keep their baby girl cool after she became overheated by lightly dressing her down. She was crying a lot, and her mother was trying not to bother other passengers. While most understood the stressful situation, a flight attendant falsely claimed the baby had a fever and even asked for a birth certificate, using it as an excuse to remove the family, adding unnecessary fear and stress to an already difficult moment.

Viral doesn't scare anyone. Fuck ... who wants to travel with that loud nonstop crying.

The screaming was irrelevant. That kid is ugly AF

Is it legal to have an infant sitting on your lap during take off?

4 +1 Lemmiwinks 3 weeks ago

To the people saying it’s bad they got booted, ask yourself: how would the baby react to the feeling of takeoff and landing, or the slightest change in cabin pressure?

@Lemmiwinks who cares? Their crotch fruit isnt my concern until it disturbs my peace.

I learned a long time ago, anytime you fly to or from Florida, especially Orlando, take noise cancelling headphones. Leaving Orlando is the worst with babies and toddlers crying because those people have worn themselves at Disney and the other theme parks.

@MisterProgneto its the smell i cant stand.

We have to ask ourselves why all the stupid Covid restrictions are still going on today. This is where the problem persists, but no one pays attention to it!

I bet a lot of people on the plane were happy that the screaming baby was taken off of the flight. Why do people travel with very small babies on planes? Isn't that torture for everyone else?

Did the parents really have to take a very small baby, obviously in distress, on a flight?

14 +1 Lemmiwinks 3 weeks ago

No but that thing is a literal infant.. do people really air travel with their kids that young??

4 +1 essence25 3 weeks ago

@Lemmiwinks Yes, I had an 8 hour flight in constant baby crying and no one did anything..

3 +1 MisterProgneto 3 weeks ago

@Lemmiwinks Fly in or out of Orlando and you'll lots of babies and toddlers because of Disney.

1 +1 Lemmiwinks 3 weeks ago

As if a fucking BABY will remember Disney. I overestimate the average persons intelligence every day

The baby was doing what a baby does?! If you cant deal with a crying baby in the day of noise canceling headphones ect., then maybe you should get off!
Ppl have kids n ppl need to travel its life...

11 +1 Clappincheeks2knight 3 weeks ago

@Kate666 People don't need to travel with infants. They choose to because they're self centered assholes.... The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the asshole couple with a crying infant.

0 +1 Kate666 3 weeks ago

2 +1 Comfortably_numb 3 weeks ago

@Kate666 in this case the rest of the flight won.

21 +1 Epicfrog 3 weeks ago

poor baby was in pain and suffering nobody should be flying with babies nor animals on a plane

6 +1 Swedishtroll69 3 weeks ago

@Epicfrog

And the pain disappeared mysteriously as soon as they got off the plane!?

1 +1 Comfortably_numb 3 weeks ago

@Swedishtroll69 who cares, the problem was removed.

4 +1 MisterProgneto 3 weeks ago

@Epicfrog Babies cry. It doesn't mean they are sick. They could be teething or lots of other things. It's no big deal.
