29-year-old Olivia Clendenin, a former dance instructor from Franklin, Ohio, was sentenced on March 26, 2026, to 16 to 20.5 years in prison for attempted murder and related charges.

The shooting occurred on January 1, 2025, during a New Year’s Eve party in Clearcreek Township.

After discovering her husband and boyfriend were both at the same party, Clendenin left, returned with a .40 caliber handgun, and fired eight shots at the residence.

One bullet struck innocent bystander Daniel Johnson in the stomach while he sat on the porch.

Johnson nearly died and continues to suffer chronic pain and digestive issues more than a year later.
