 A deputy rescued a disabled man from a burning home, preventing serious injury or worse.

 

According to the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office, Deputy Boone responded to a house fire call last month and arrived first on scene, ahead of other emergency units. Officials said she quickly assessed the situation, confirming the fire had already spread between multiple vacant homes in the area.
