NEW: Kentucky family rejects $26 million offer to convert part of their farm into a data center despite the offer being about 10 times the going rate for farmland in the area.
"If it's my way, I'll stay and hold and feed a nation. 26 million doesn't mean anything."
"As long as I'm on this land, as long as it's feeding me, as long as it's taking care of me, there's nothing that can destroy me if I've got this land."

Notice how there are no children around ... who's she going to hand the land down to to keep it from being purchased?
If the neighbors or someone else ain't taking it, there's going to be fleet of heavy excavators ready to flatten the place and develop it the moment she falls over dead from a coronary, which she's obviously overdue for.

It makes me sad, because they're genuine, good people, but the vast majority of the people in the nation they're feeding would throw them under the bus for a nickel.
