Just to clarify..

A 960 is below average equivalent to a "C" grading.

Average score in my HS graduating class was an 1110. (An easy number to remember from years ago) Which is around the B+ in grading.
But of course, that was before the Dept. Of Education existed.
And, it would have been higher except every student score was factored in, including the Special ED kids. I think the lowest grade reported, they gave us the range, was in the 300s.
