The war in Ukraine shows that, in the age of drone warfare, a navy is no longer necessary to dominate the seas. Fortunately, the US Navy has complete air superiority and can hopefully destroy the Iranian production facilities for aerial and sea drones.

Otherwise, just a few Iranians would be enough to bring some kind of sea drones to the coast, which are about the size of jet skis and could threaten all ships in the area.

@Hackintosh Yes, and not a single BTU of LNG has left Qater, not a single drop of Brent crude has left the Strait of Hormuz, nor a single grain of rice has entered. Saudis are wondering where they're going to get their next glass of water, and Iran still has tens of thousands of very affective Shahed drones awaiting deployment. The collateral consequences to this short sited and poorly thought out attack have yet to show-up in the rest of the world, but it's only a matter of time.

So what??? Their Navy was never "effective". Every Navy inj the world knows that, aside from their small high speed boats the navy never played a big role.

However their underground mountain bases have thousands of drones and various missiles they've been stock pilling for last 20 yrs, that where their real "effectiveness" plays a major roles, as we've seen hoe Israel Iron dome is no longer able to block ANY of Iran's missiles.

Israel is fucked and I'm not the only war analyst who's saying it.
