On March 6, 2022, New Smyrna Beach, Florida police officers responded a local bar for a report of a female causing a disturbance. The suspect reportedly was screaming at bar patrons exiting the location and the manager wished to have her trespassed from the property.
During the interaction with police, the suspect was became increasingly belligerent with other individuals in the area. While attempting to arrest her for disorderly conduct, the suspect went off on a rant and told the black police officers they were being racist for arresting her. She began banging on the patrol car door, demanding the officer call her mother.
