HARRISON TOWNSHIP, Ohio — A suspect led police on a 90-minute chase that ended in a violent crash, with dashcam video showing a police cruiser flipping off a trailer during the final moments.
The pursuit began around 4:29 p.m. in Norwood after officers attempted to stop a white SUV driven by Iesha Harris, who was wanted on outstanding charges including felonious assault and weapons violations.
Police say Harris fled, triggering a multi-agency chase that stretched across Hamilton County and into Indiana before looping back into Ohio.
Dashcam footage shows the SUV pulling a flatbed trailer with a Cincinnati Police cruiser positioned on it. Authorities have not explained how the cruiser ended up there, though investigators say the suspect struck two police vehicles earlier in the pursuit.
The chase ended in Harrison Township when an officer performed a PIT maneuver, causing the SUV to spin out and crash into a tree.
As the vehicle veered off the road, the police cruiser on the trailer was thrown off, flipping multiple times before landing on its side in the roadway.
Moments later, the SUV caught fire after impact. Harris and an officer involved were both transported to the hospital. Their conditions have not been released.
Authorities have not yet announced additional charges related to the pursuit. The investigation remains ongoing.
