BALTIMORE (WBFF) — The Independent Investigations Division (IID) of the Maryland Office of the Attorney General has identified the man who was killed in a police-involved shooting on Tuesday as well as the Baltimore officers who fired their weapons.

 

The decedent was identified as 37-year-old Dwight Hawkins, of Baltimore. City Police Commissioner Richard Worley previously told the media on Feb. 24 that the deceased was a 38-year-old man

End of story. Gun, running, probably a felon who can't have a gun. But you can bet the NAACP/BLM types will call the shooting racist.


“At one point, he pulled his hands out. He had a handgun in his hands. In his right hand,” said Baltimore Police Commissioner Richard Worley, “He continued running with the gun in his hands. As the individual continued running, officers pulled out their weapons.He ran almost face-to-face with a second officer at which time he was shot.”

@Morning_Vibez Well the fact that he decided to thumb through a wodge of cash in front of the cops, probably would've been enough for them to want to have a little chat with him... I mean let's face it, if a dude who looks like that is carrying anything more than 50 bucks, he's either a drug dealer, or a thief. And as he chose to run, he basically confirmed that he was up to mischief.
