Shoplifter Instantly Arrested By Arizona Officers

On December 29th around 8pm, Glendale officers spotted someone grab armfuls of clothing and make a run for the door.
The suspect bolted past the registers, but our officers weren't having it. After a short foot chase, they caught up and placed him in handcuffs.
More officers arrived to assist with Dillard's staff to document everything. Turns out the suspect tried to steal 7 items worth over $1,000.
But wait, there's more. He also had multiple outstanding warrants from Maricopa County.
He's now booked on shoplifting charges plus those warrants. Thanks to our officers for keeping our community safe!
