OZARK, Mo. — New video released by the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP) shows the moments troopers arrested a suspect in an Amber Alert case, and located the child at the center of the search.

On Saturday, Jan. 31, an Amber Alert was sent out related to a child abduction connected to a homicide case in Mansfield, Texas. That alert went out at 2:13 p.m.

Seven minutes later, troopers found the vehicle and arrested the suspect without incident and safely recovered the child. Video shows the moments the troopers surrounded the vehicle with guns drawn in the parking lot of a convenience store. You can see the video at the top of the page, or here below.

The video was shared Thursday afternoon in a social media post in which the MSHP credited finding the vehicle thanks to License Plate Reader (LPR) technology.
