The First Amendment doesn't apply here.

Members who don't post comments that are derogatory to other members and contain prohibited content don't get their comments edited nor deleted.

Simple enough rules for 99 % of the members here to follow. It is only about a dozen members who create 99% of the infractions who can't seem to control themselves.

Just fyi, a lot comes from new members who are troll-wanna-be's that see a few nasty comments and think they can hide behind a keyboard and just post some foul remarks.

They don't stay as Mods delete their crap as soon as it is seen and they quickly figure out we don't want them here. We take what they think is fun and deflate their balloon. So they don't get the agitation they so desire.

I have received a 100 times more "Thanks for cleaning things up" than the couple of complaints over the censorship.

@Cripple nah really didn’t know that about the 1st amendment I thought it applied to private businesses.

Censorship, except for stuff that violates US law, is for pussies. I mean that, not just saying to “troll” or elicit a reaction. Because if watching violent acts is fine with you but a few words upset you then you’ve got real issues.

I also understand that it may not necessarily be the site admin but rather the folks who run the hosting side of all this.
