My first car was a 1978 Plymouth Volare my dad gave me at 16. The car sucked but man, we had so many good times and that straight six lasted 238,000 miles. The rest of the car fell apart but that engine was bullet-proof.

Too bad there won't be any go fund me's for a kid who is grateful and happy to get an older car and not throwing a fit because it's not a new Mercedes.
