«If the vehicle was truly a weapon, seems really foolish to just walk out in front of it, creating a zero sum situation where deadly force is the only resort; basically a modern day duel. The agent certainly wouldn't be walking out in front of the same woman if she were pointing a gun in his direction, that would be breaking every protocol agents are taught regarding engagement of that nature. In turn, it's every bit as foolish to walk in front of a car that could be "weaponized". The agent invited a deadly confrontation by willfully putting himself in front of that vehicle at that time. She did not drive up to an agent who'd been posted in the road already. That's a really important distinction. The final two shots fired by the officer were fired from the side of the SUV. At that point the officer was no longer in the direction of travel of the SUV and therefore not in danger of being run over. The agent displayed a stunning disregard for human life through his actions immediately before, during and immediately after the shooting. He murdered that woman, period. I hope to fucking hell he's held to account. I hope to fucking hell the administration doesn't influence any investigations into this matter. I hope to fucking hell this doesn't happen again. I can't/won't sanction this type of action against anyone, citizen or not, enemy or not, MAGA or not, with one little caveat. That would be simply that if you are somone that can and will sanction these actions by the government, I sincerely hope you get to experience them from the first hand perspective of Ms. Good, sooner rather than later. I'm not proud to live in country where shit like this can now happen....»
