On Sunday, OSHP shared a video from November showing how quickly things can change while driving in wintry weather.
Video shows a trooper responding to a truck that slid off the road along I-71 in Mansfield when a semi cab slid off the road, over the railing of the bridge and down the side of the highway.
Moments later, another truck slides off the overpass and down the hill.
"I almost got hit by a truck!" one of the troopers can be heard shouting on the video.
"It shows just how fast weather conditions can change and how dangerous winter weather can be for everyone on the road, including first responders," OSHP said in the post.
The trooper went to check on the drivers, who were OK.
"All indications is that we're alright," the driver told troopers.
OSHP used the video as a harsh reminder of how quickly things can turn in icy road conditions.
"Slow down, increase your following distance and give yourself extra time to reach your destination safely. Arriving late to your destination is fine; arriving safely is what matters," OSHP said in the post.
