This is why Trump was falsely charged with multiple counts. So the left can yell “criminal” as a defense to every logical question posed at them. Sheep.

«Umm the tax cuts were for the rich and the top down approach has been studied and proven that it doesnt lead to more money for the little guys. Als9 Costcos earnings are why things changed for employees. They're a union based company. Democrates didn't do this to him! Guess who wants to get rid of Medicare and SSN...Trump. That leaves you without anything when you retire unless you've invested. When it comes to interest rates increasing that has to do with the feds...all to curb inflation.
. When you have more people taking out debt they havr to rein it in. Please do your research before blindly listening to morons like this that want to victim blame. Look at the economy now with actual facts and you'll see were better off than any other country due to Bidens policies. Every country is dealing with inflation right now....all due to the covid lockdowns. This has nothing to do with Biden
or the democrates. Trump said he'd build a wall and didn't, he raised out deficit by 25% more than any sitting president in US history. Enough of this shit and only seeking one side of the argument.

«@CHENANGO stop making things up or promoting made up garbage that you hear. The Teamsters, Costco's unionized workers, make up about 18,000 employees out of the total 316,000 employees. The Trump tax cuts, i.e. the TCJA, was studied extensively and it was clear from the start that it was aimed at and actually provided a tax cut to everyone, not just the rich. The whole "trickle down" economics argument doesn't even apply. https://taxfoundation.org/wp-content/uploads/2024/03/The-2017-Tax-Cuts-and-Jobs-Act-TCJA-lowered-tax-rates-for-taxpayers-across-all-income-levels.png

Trump doesn't want to get rid of Medicare and Social Security. That's made up and is fear-mongering rhetoric.

And, inflation most certainly has to do with Biden and the Democrats. Simply blaming Covid is false. When you increase government spending across the board as the Democrats have done, you're increasing inflation. The Biden Admin spent more than the Trump Admin in 2021. As for the deficit, it increased mostly because of Covid, but Biden's deficit is much higher than Trump's, both nominally and as a %. Under Trump for all four years, the total nominal deficit is 5.561T. Under Biden, but only for the first three years since we're excluding 2024 as it's not completed yet, the total nominal deficit is 5.845T. As a percentage of total national debt, the gov't deficit under Trump was 20.67% of the national debt, while the gov't deficit under Biden is 16.62% of the national debt (again, excluding 2024). It will be likely be higher than Trump's at the end of 2024.

Current total national debt: https://www.usdebtclock.org/
National deficit by year: https://fred.stlouisfed.org/series/FYFSD

Trump tried his best to build a wall, and got some of it done. But, that doesn't mean that he wasn't sincere about it. He issued an Executive Order to divert $3.8B from the Pentagon towards building that wall in the first 100 days of office, but even that effort was stimied by Democrats as 20 states sued the Trump Admin because of it. There were other lawsuits against Trump that put a stop to the wall, including those from Biden.

D states sue Trump for border wall: https://www.politico.com/news/2020/03/03/states-sue-trump-administration-border-wall-119806
20-state lawsuit: https://cdn.ca9.uscourts.gov/datastore/opinions/2020/06/26/19-16299.pdf

It sounds like you are the one seeking one side of the argument. All of your responses are just copy-paste from Democratic talking points. When you get into the details of it, you're wrong.

«@CHENANGO No, Donald Trump is not actively trying to get rid of Social Security. Despite some claims to the contrary, Trump has consistently stated during his 2024 campaign that he intends to protect Social Security. He has specifically said that "not a single penny" should be cut from the program. While Trump did make a comment earlier in the year about the potential for cuts to entitlement programs, he quickly walked that back, clarifying that he did not mean to suggest any cuts to Social Security.

Trump’s campaign platform includes a proposal to eliminate income taxes on Social Security benefits, which some experts warn could accelerate the program's funding challenges. However, Trump has been clear that his intention is to preserve and protect Social Security, not to dismantle or cut it.

It's important to differentiate between the rhetoric used by political opponents and Trump's actual policy positions as outlined in his campaign. The claims that Trump intends to cut Social Security have been labeled as misleading by several fact-checking sources.

In summary, while Trump has proposed some changes that might impact the program's long-term finances, his campaign does not currently advocate for cutting Social Security benefits (11Alive.com) (POLITICO) (PolitiFact).

«@CHENANGO Your response is riddled with misconceptions and inaccuracies shit for brains and it’s important to clarify these points with actual facts rather than emotional rhetoric.

Firstly, the tax cuts under the Trump administration were not solely for the rich. The Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017 did reduce the corporate tax rate and provided significant benefits to higher-income earners, but it also included tax cuts for middle-income households. According to the Tax Policy Center, about 65% of households received a tax cut in 2018, with the average middle-income household saving approximately $930 (11Alive.com). While it’s true that the wealthy benefited more in absolute dollar terms, dismissing the broader impact on all taxpayers is misleading.

Regarding the claim that Trump is trying to get rid of Medicare and Social Security, this is inaccurate. Trump has repeatedly stated during his 2024 campaign that he does not intend to cut Social Security or Medicare. In fact, his platform includes protecting these programs and even eliminating taxes on Social Security benefits (POLITICO) (PolitiFact). The idea that Trump is actively working to dismantle these essential programs is not supported by his current policy proposals.

The assertion that Biden’s policies have left the U.S. "better off than any other country" during this period of global inflation is also questionable. While it’s true that inflation has been a global issue exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic, U.S. inflation rates have been among the highest compared to other developed nations. The Federal Reserve's interest rate hikes have been a necessary, but painful, response to curb inflation, not a reflection of superior economic management (11Alive.com).

Finally, while Trump’s promise to build a wall was only partially fulfilled, and the deficit did increase under his administration, it’s essential to understand that deficits are influenced by many factors, including economic conditions, existing obligations, and emergency spending, such as the response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Blaming Trump alone for the deficit increase ignores the complex fiscal realities and bipartisan decisions that contribute to these outcomes.

In conclusion you're a fucking moron and a more balanced perspective is needed here. Engaging with facts rather than inflammatory language will lead to a more constructive discussion about the challenges and policies facing our nation. Misrepresenting policies and outcomes does nothing to advance the conversation or address the real issues at hand. Now go fuck off demorat!
