Nico Claux - the Paris Vampire - stole human tissue from a morgue and cooked it at home, drank blood bags from a hospital and robbed graves at 17 for Satanic rituals. In 1994 he lured a man online, walked into his apartment and shot him in the face. It took 15 minutes for the man to die. He served 8 years and now sells cannibal cookbooks and serial killer art painted with his own blood.
In the video below, Nico sits down and answers the one question everyone wants to ask.
What does human flesh taste like.
He said lean people taste worse. Someone with body fat - better. Somewhere between pork and horse. Sweet. White meat. Addictive like a drug. He would miss it when he couldn't get it.
He described killing as a spiritual experience. The moment he pulled the trigger he felt the umbilical cord cut between himself and humanity. Said you transform into something else and there's no going back.
From prison he corresponded with Ramirez, Bundy, Manson and Danny Rolling the Gainesville Ripper. Rolling painted his portrait. He has Ramirez's court tie, part of Bundy's car and an oven rack from a German cannibal's kitchen that likely still has human residue on it.
He paints killers in his own blood. Calls it his idea of immortality.
Is Nico Claux a genuinely reformed man who found another outlet, or did he simply find a more socially acceptable way to stay close to the same thing that drove him to kill?
