A suspect's attempt to walk out of Lady Lake Target with two Nintendo Switch consoles valued at nearly $1,100 didn't go quite as planned.

On Oct. 13, Lady Lake Police officers responded to a reported theft in progress. When confronted, the suspect took off running through the parking lot, leading to a brief foot pursuit before being apprehended.
The suspect, identified as Josiah Carter, was arrested and charged with grand theft and resisting arrest without violence.
