The woman told rescuers she jumped because “she wanted to disembark,” a coast guard spokesperson told AFP.

Passenger accounts from the ship said she grabbed an inflatable life ring before going overboard. Officials confirmed she was found inside the lifebuoy, which had a flashing light that helped rescuers locate her.
