@ZooKeeper They are trained that way, unless real danger occurs - which did not, cause she could handle her misstep - they cannot interfere. There was the case in 2014 when Elizabeth II. stumbled (down a few steps) at D-Day memorial event in France. Putin acted like he didn't even noticed, and not moved an inch to help, unlike other countries' PMs and presidents (f.e. Barack Hussein Obama).

Oh the western media outlets spread this as it had been so outrageous, when in fact Putin was the only one among all the presidents, who knew the etiquette: no one can help the queen, only if she asks for it. So Putin did not help, also I'm sure for a split second he even thought "on your face biatch, break your jaw and your thighs" for all the hate he got from GB, and from the royal family, even if - despite being notorious for keeping others waiting (which is a powerplay, not a goofy act) - has manners, contrary to many other leaders.
