Teenager hit by car during live Polish TV report

A television crew captured the moment a car hit a 14-year-old girl riding an electric scooter in northern Poland.
Footage shows the black car turning into a side street and hitting the teenager, who struck the windshield before falling onto the road in the town of Kościerzyna on Saturday.
The driver initially sped away from the scene but returned several minutes later. Police said the man was sober but did not have a driving license.

The collision happened while TVP Info journalist Miłosz Sieliwończyk was reporting on an unrelated accident in which a three-year-old boy had died earlier that day.

The TV crew immediately called the emergency services and went to help the girl.

Despite the dramatic collision, police said the teenager suffered only minor scratches and did not require hospitalization.

Police are investigating the circumstances of the incident.
