A 55-year-old Florida man BLOWS KISSES at a 23-year-old on I-75 before causing a crash and fleeing.
Troopers say Alberto Irizarry Rivera was in a Chevy pickup when it started just after 4:30 p.m. Thursday on southbound I-75 near mile marker 254 in Riverview.

The other driver, a 23-year-old from Apollo Beach, was in a Hyundai Elantra. He told FHP the Chevy cut him off and stopped short on purpose.

Video captured by the victim shows Rivera taunting him and blowing kisses through an open window.

FHP says the Chevy then jumped in front of the Hyundai and brake-checked it, causing the alleged collision.

Rivera did not stop or trade information. He left the crash behind and kept going.

FHP found him at home later that evening and he was booked into the Hillsborough County Jail.
He is charged with reckless driving causing property damage. He is also charged with leaving the scene of a crash with property damage.

No injuries were listed in the FHP account. The victim's name has not been released.

A review of federal FARS data found Florida's fatal road-rage crashes jumped 200% from 2023 to 2024. Luckily, this case only resulted in a damaged vehicle.
