Accused murderer requests physical demonstration at his trial to prove he didnt do it

Guilty.

He made his point and the fact that the judge refused to allow such a demonstration in court won't sit well with the jury. The man's life is at stake.

The police often lie to secure a conviction (they have already decided that you are guilty), the prosecutor doesn't care if you are guilty or not (his job is to convict) and the state has access to resources and forensic evidence (often much less safe than we are led to believe) that the defense doesn't have or can't afford.

Criminal trials are far from an exact science. Many, many innocent people have been executed to subsequently have been shown to have been innocent as forensic evidence has developed.

Defendants pretending to be pre or post law never turns out well.

Tried to pull an OJ on officer. If you can't lift, you must acquit. He has a point, not every detail is refined in the case, how it was presented. Though how he behaved plus licking his lips like he can't contain himself from reliving the moment, what and how he really did - just adds weight to holding him guilty. He thinks he outsmarted everyone, yet he not proved he didn't do it, just diverted the narrative he might had an accomplice. (Can be a tactic to gain time, but what for? Maybe for joy, he feels when "playing". Higher the arousal the more on the line.)
