A road rage confrontation escalated in North London when a woman got out of her vehicle and approached another car brandishing an axe.

She can be seen aggressively confronting the male driver demanding he move his car as the exchange descends into insults and angry gestures.

A member of the public eventually stepped in and calmed the situation before it escalated further.

No information on injuries or arrests at this stage.
