Police are investigating a shooting in Lee's Summit, Missouri, after multiple suspects opened fire on a vehicle stopped near Highway 291 and Chipman Road around 10:50 a.m. Wednesday. One person suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries, while another was injured by flying glass. Investigators identified a dark gray Ford F-150 with a California vanity license plate as the suspected vehicle. Police described the shooting as an isolated incident involving people who knew each other, not a random attack. No arrests have been reported, and authorities have not confirmed any cartel or gang involvement.
