Sophia Dismukes never made it to the party.

Her sister called for a welfare check, and Secaucus police found her slumped over and asleep in her car.

The car was off. Then she started it. She said the knocking scared her. Officers figured she was about to leave and had just passed out first.

Her phone didn’t help: GPS was pulled up.

She said she’d drunk earlier, gone back to the car, and fallen asleep.

She performed miserably on the field sobriety tests, as expected.

Dismukes was booked for DWI.

She needs a good lawyer.
