Can't trust the Police. More Flock BS causes shutdown of FLOCK cameras

The city of Greer, South Carolina is suspending their Flock Safety Cameras program

 

Multiple officers have been found to be using the cameras for unauthorized searches and putting in fake reasons so the logs look legitimate

 

The cameras have been covered with plastic bags while they do a 90 day pause on their Flock cameras

 

- Cpl. Kareem Lynch (28) repeatedly searched the plate of a fellow officer he had previously been in a relationship with (a subordinate). He logged the searches as “welfare check” or “city planning.”

- Officer Sebastian Echeverry (29) searched plates of several residents over months and logged the reason as “Alcohol Offense Non-DUI.”

 

There was also another officer in South Carolina that who was fired after searching an ex’s plate roughly 170 times and logging false reasons like welfare check, warrant, traffic stop
