Twitch streamers Maya Higa and Adapt had a close encounter with a brown bear during a trip to Alaska’s Katmai National Park, as the animal passed just feet from their group.
The pair were visiting the park as part of a livestream when they encountered several of the area’s brown bears alongside an experienced team of guides.
One clip showed a bear casually walking close to the group before suddenly running into the water to catch a fish, leaving Adapt visibly shaken by just how close they had been.
“My heart is beating out of my chest,” he said once the bear had moved away. “I thought it was over.”
