Armed officers raced to Calenick Street in Truro, at around 1.45pm on Monday afternoon, after reports of a 'bladed article' being used during a fight.

One man suffered 'a potentially serious injury', though it is not considered life-threatening or life-changing, Devon and Cornwall Police said.

Two other men also suffered minor injuries.

Sinjar Zurel, 27, and Seyin Zurel, 24, both from the Malpas area of Truro, have been charged with two counts of causing grievous bodily harm with intent.

Sinjar Zurel has also been charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm and possession of a knife blade/sharp pointed article in a public place.
