Israeli organized crime figure Yanis Yushayev was shot dead Sunday outside a restaurant at a gas station near Caesarea. Police reportedly believe he operated with brothers Eli and Matan Arbivin as part of a criminal network active across several Israeli regions. Yushayev had repeatedly been arrested over suspected involvement in shootings, grenade attacks and arson, but was never convicted. The gunman fled and remains at large. Reports that he was wearing a hyper-realistic face mask have not been confirmed.
