At a ballet class that would be a bit harsh from the instructor to kick a football (with a "lucky shot"
into the groins of a dancer/student.
Instructor - 93 pounds, 5.7 feet tall sheer terror - red headed, with blue lips and bulging veins on the neck and the temples:

Without the football - it can happen! It is quite plausible!
But it is absolutely not uncommon on the field, while training.. Coach kicked a football out of frustration, aimed around the player, but clearly just got "lucky"..
He saying sorry later, the player getting up when he is ready: aaaand it's plaaaaytiiime..
If a coach goes berserk roundkicking, drunken boxing the whole team and even the waterboy, plus the cheerleaders because his private life goes down the drainer - lock that fucker up, after a solid beating. But this? Fire him, because unintentionally kicked a football with a lucky shot into a player's balls.. 'Donget phfffissyccal, no injuuuries pwease, OR ELSE..'
If that was all, and I would have been the player: going to defend the coach would not be an option, but a must!
I would do that with one testicle, doing splits instead of walking..

High school football coach in California fired after kicking a football into the balls of one of his players during practice.
The player needed help getting off the field after getting pelted in the balls.
“I kicked the ball and it hit him in the groin area and instantly I felt like I was going to pass out. I feel obviously a great deal of remorse for what happened. It's a one in a million shot,” coach Adam Brubaker said in a statement.
“He's a great kid, but he's intense. We've had at least a dozen conversations about not taking kids to the ground during team drills.”
