Police in Águas Lindas de Goiás, Brazil, found a 24-year-old woman gagged, masked, and chained to a bed after her family reported her missing. Her ex was arrested at the scene. She told police she had been sedated and assaulted throughout her captivity. Officers cutting her free is hard to watch. Another brutal reminder of how domestic abuse can turn into control, captivity, and violence when someone decides the other person no longer gets to leave.
