Assuming these government grocery stores can live up to the 30% discount on rotating essentials each month, when you look at the total expenditure by the government, this will be the most expensive grocery store on the planet. However, it will be a success politically because the people at the point of sale will get the 30% discount on the groceries. I hope it fails, because we do not want this to become a trend. These are easy to see benefits with hard to see true costs.
