On a more serious note, after owning a fiberglass salt water pool with an I-Chlore which converts salt into NATURAL chlorine and understanding how and why to TREAT a pool, I would NEVER swim in a public swimming pool again. No stranger will ever swim in my pool either. The amount of fecal matter in a public swimming pool is staggering. Also, when you smell CHLORINE in a pool and think ..."oh, it must be clean water", you are dead wrong. A clean pool should never smell like chlorine. The culprit is URINE. Urine reacts with chlorine to create chemical compounds called chloramines, which cause the strong, distinct "pool smell". Pure chlorine in water should not have a heavy chemical odor. You've been warned. You're welcome!

@UP URANUS Not surprised how you were lured here. I was watching a party of 40-50 Mexicans around the volleyball pool at the community pool. Grilling and drinking a lot. In those 2 hours, not one walked up the hill to use the restroom located near the main pool. Jim Crow 2.0. If Apartheid is good enough for Israel, so it should for USA.

Nobody cares, because they know they've already pissed in the pool.
The only reason this is an issue, is because he used soap and people saw it. (OH NO, there's SOAP in the pool!!) No mention of the gallons of piss that contaminate the pool daily.
The water quality was "urgently dealt with". HOW??? Did they drain the pool? I doubt it. Do they have a special soap filter, and filtered the entire pool? No. If they did anything at all, it was add more chlorine.
This is a big deal over nothing. If the guy had any brains, he would have scrubbed his asshole while submerged, so people wouldn't have noticed.

@Door.Knob Any kind of soap, detergent, cleansing agent, surfactant can damage the filtration system and render it useless. To clean this selfish shitbag's dingle berries from the pool, they will floc the pool, which usually takes overnight, then vacuum out the coagulant, then run the filter for a 24 hour cycle, and balance the PH.
