Police are investigating after a customer was caught on camera attacking a manager at a Powder Springs Dairy Queen on Tuesday.
The city’s police department says it has identified the driver.
“Our officers and detectives wasted no time getting to work. We can confirm that the suspect has been identified, and criminal charges are pending,” Powder Springs PD said in a Facebook post in which they shouted out Atlanta News First.

At the fast food restaurant on Austell-Powder Springs Road, the driver threw a Dr. Pepper at the drive-thru window after he claimed the employees messed up his milkshake order, security footage shows.
“We appreciate your help in holding people accountable and keeping our workplace safe….over a milkshake he claimed was not a milkshake," Dairy Queen said in a Facebook post.
“He needs anger management. He really really does need some help. Because it was very obvious, he was angry before he got here. We just triggered it,” said Lisa Green, store manager.
The Powder Springs Police Department said, “Here’s a friendly reminder: It’s okay to be frustrated. It’s okay to ask for a manager. It’s okay to request your order be fixed. It’s never okay to assault someone who is simply doing their job.”

I know it's frustrating. You make your order ahead online and think you give them plenty of time to get it right. You drive right up with no one ahead and no one behind, but still have to wait for them to slap it together as soon as you get there.
Still, don't take it out on them. These fast food joints are undermanned due to the economy. Plus, people are idiots and can't even fill orders off a screen.
