New video shows how the alleged robber was apprehended inside a currency exchange in Sosúa, Dominican Republic.

A new video captured by security cameras inside the Arvelo Currency Exchange, in the La Unión neighborhood of Sosúa, shows the moment the alleged robber tries to leave the establishment. He is subdued by employees, the owner, and several community members, who manage to hold him until the arrival of the National Police.

According to available information, during the alleged robbery attempt, a taxi driver was shot in the leg while passing through the area.

The detainee, preliminarily identified by the nickname "El Compa," was handed over to the authorities for further legal proceedings.
