ALERT: Woman runs for her life after she was bitten by a rattlesnake while trimming rose bushes in her California front yard.

Linda Martin was at her home near Santa Clarita, tending to her rose bushes barefoot, when she felt something bite her foot.

She lifted up the bush to find a rattlesnake hiding under it and was bitten without the snake even making a noise.

As she frantically dialed 911, she had no cell service, and after the 3rd attempt, her husband said: “Get in the car.”

“Had my husband not been home, and I was here alone, I don’t know what would have happened.”

California Poison Control System director Lee Cantrell says the state is outpacing last year's rattlesnake attacks by 20%.

“Last year, we had a little over 400 calls about rattlesnake bites… And so far, in the first six months of 2026, we’ve had 250 calls.”

I knew the Leftist media would say the Global Warming scam is causing more snake bites. These Leftists masquerading as scientists are always politicking for more control.

As a T0K-715 infiltrator hunter-killer I approve and encourage this behavior.

Barefoot?! In Phoenix you cannot walk outside barefoot past March, the ground gets so hot.

Let's see...build homes in the "desert" areas where rattlesnakes and other animals are.
Plant things that may attract "food" for rattlesnakes.
Go out barefoot.
Have terrible cellphone reception.
Hummmm

@kma8675309 "Let's see...build homes in the "desert" areas where rattlesnakes and other animals are." Let's see rattle snakes are found across the Americas, from southern Canada down to central Argentina, with the highest numbers located in the southwestern United States and northern Mexico, they live in almost every part of the contiguous United States. So where do we build homes Einstein?

@TheOneYouFeed Your argument is invalid, simply because there are places where the number of rattlesnake bites per person (or even per year) is: ZERO. People building homes in areas where rattlesnakes are close to having the same mindset like 'those, who move next to an active volcano, then they wonder why is lava in their living room" (George Carlin). Such people are fucking stupid..

She is a lot smarter than that chick in the other video that wsited until her leg was the 3 times its normal size before getting medical attention.

@Cripple Probably hoping it was nothing.
