Cancel all of them! Towns in Connecticut are cancelling their contracts with Flock camera over privacy concerns

The cameras are using artificial intelligence to gather way more information than just license plates

 

Cancelling Flock cameras is a growing trend, at least 60 municipalities canceled or refused to renew Flock contracts in the past 18 months

 

Currently flock cameras are in 49 states

 

Thr Connecticut towns cancelling their contracts say they haven’t seen any measurable helpfulness of the cameras solving comes to justify the surveillance concerns 

 

There are over 80,000-100,000 already installed nationwide
